The Particulator

About the Build

Buried deep in the vaults of the Palace of Performing Particles, scientists have worked day and night investigating the strange and mysterious properties of Second Life seawater. Now, after years of painstaking research, they have developed "The Particulator". An invention of unfathomable magnitude that extracts and pixelates, concentrates and consolidates, and eventually bottles this amazingly potent substance. Come and see what it can do.

Please note that due to certain irregularities in the SIM crust the plant has to close down for a few minutes each hour, on the hour, to allow a nearby volcano to let off its pressure. This dazzling display is followed by a short purging of the system before normal operations are resumed.

About the Artist

Aloah Oh makes no pretentions as to being a great artist. She wants to fill SL with movement and colour. Her view is that art is best judged by others, and would be grateful for any feedback all you wonderful art critics out there would like to give.

Artist Biography

In real life she is one of a team of Ecological Architects and Designers working in the UK as Gordon Clarke Architects/ Gordon Clarke Creative Ltd. The starting point for her inspiration was working with Gordon and his daughter Pearl, on a series of fire sculptures which they occasionally exhibit at the likes of Glasonbury Festival.
But you can do much more with particles ;-)

The secret bottles arn't always easy to find - but i have placed some more easy ones.

Clue: mountains are not always in the air! (but sometimes they are).

OK someone hasn't been

OK someone hasn't been playing fair. If you want one of the bottles of super Pixellated Ocean Water (sPOW), you have to leave a nice comment here and I'll send you one. People have been scanning the site, I suspect using settings which reveal hidden stuff, and taking the lot, which is very naughty and greedy.

Sooooo ill send you one if you ask nicely. There is about 50 hours of scripting time and loads of love put into each one so treat them tenderly.

xxx Aloah

Thirsty!

Oh yes, please, Aloah, I want one! And I don't know where the settings to reveal hidden stuff are! :p

Just beautiful, and quite the inspiration to a beginning (finally) content provider.

Thanks for showing us around!

Now about these bottles...? :) I'm not too savvy on the hide-n-seek either, could you send a poor old nearsighted mole a sample of this fabled elixir. :P

Cheers, and Congratulations!
