My Weekend with the Greenies!

Waking up lazily on a freezing Sunday morning, I thought to myself as I curled up under my toasty blanket, way too reluctant to get out of bed "Not another dreary winter's day!" Everything's been gray, or covered in snow...I needed warmth and color to energize me and uplift my mood! Time to shed off the many thick layers of winter clothing and enjoy some sun! I packed up a picnic basket and headed over to the Greenies home, rounded up my cute little friends and took off for an adventure. We wandered away from their lawn and into the woods, where I spotted several little ponds and perfect picnic spots. Out of the corner of my eye, I caught something gleaming in the distance. Curious, I followed the flickering light only to find a huge frog sitting at the edge of a pond, and it was wearing a crown! So that was what was sparkling in the sunlight.  Its eyes were closed...I smiled to myself..."should I?" It was dozing, and if I kissed it, it just might turn into a handsome prince!

Deliciously Devious

Dark, dramatic, delectable...definitely devious.
The latest release to be found in the Crimson Shadow boutique, is this gorgeous and very sexy creation by Draconic Kiss designer, Draconic
Lioncourt. "Devious" is a unique and daring outfit, that is an enticing blend of a dark, gothic flavor, and feminine, flirty, cabaret style lingerie. You can't put this on and not just exude confidence, not to mention an irresistible air of playfulness and dangerously seductive sex appeal!

A Silent Sparrow Spins a Beautiful Tale

Just when I didn't think it could ever be possible, Silent Sparrow designer Hyasynth Tiramisui actually outdid herself. I remember when her Snow Glass Suite was announced at the very first Winter Magic fashion show, I wondered impatiently what Hya might have come up with this time. Accustomed to her style, I was expecting richly embroidered lush brocades for this event, maybe velvet..in black? perhaps silver? Or no...could it be that she wanted to surprise us with some really vibrant colors that would radiate warmth in the middle of the wintry landscape?

Create your own Magic

What I love the most about designer SySy Chapman's creation for Winter Magic is its versatility, which leaves you with more than half a dozen ways to wear it. Apart from that, I think the pictures speak for themselves; the "Flakes in the Shadow" gown is absolutely stunning to behold. Actually, no amount of pictures will do it much justice, its one of those things that you need to see, touch and wear to really appreciate. The bodice and sleeves are beautifully embroidered with intricate silver snowflakes, which represent winter. The overall black color of the gown is symbolic of the Black Swan sim, while the versatility of the entire 14 piece dress, which transforms it into a new dress every time you play around with it, adds that "magical" quality to it.

A Beautiful, Sexy Metamorphosis

This dress just screams out red carpet glamor, doesn't it?
Daring, sexy, coquettish...if anything will make you feel like a silver screen goddess, brimming with confidence and style, it would have to be the stunning Chrysalis dress from Casa Del Shai. It really is one of the most delicate, feminine creations I have seen in a while - exquisite diaphanous hand painted silks and light matte satins wrap around your body, covering up the right bits and revealing enough skin to totally mesmerize. Chrysalis is really just one of those dresses that will definitely turn every head in the room and have all eyes fixed on you; taking in the beauty, grace and utterly heart stopping sexiness of your form. It's not only a feast for the eyes, however, this dress, no, it's much, much more.

A Colorfully Gothic, Fantastical Winter!

+++Blue Blood+++ designer Ghanima Uriza's fabulous contribution to the Winter Magic at Black Swan event is so very special for quite a few reasons. She has brilliantly pulled off a design that is rather different from her usual work, yet made it undeniably recognizable as her own. The "Florencia" outfit was actually inspired by and named after Uriza's sister who wears funky, colorful and beautifully patterned coats. "Originally, I had a plain color coat in mind, but then I took a look at my sister and just wanted to combine her fun character and style into my design...I wanted to create something she would wear!" giggled Uriza.

Yummy Natural Beauty

**DP**yumyum is one of those stores that can literally have you squealing, and overdosing on the cuteness of the designs of just about everything it carries from clothes, to hair and their absolutely irresistible muffin seats and wearables. When I found out they were participating in the Winter Magic event at the Black Swan, I just couldn't wait to see what sort of adorable awesomeness designer Toraji Voom was going to come up with.
When the model strut down the catwalk in **DP**yumyumminess during the fashion show, the outfit was not what I was expecting. It was better! It was so cute, girly, simple, and so totally wearable.

Cascade Fashion Center: More Style for a Lot Less

I remember my first few noobie days - not very fond memories, I assure you! - the waddle walk, pasty skin, hair that never moved, and nothing to wear but the default clothes on my back *shudders at the thought*. Between being overwhelmed with all the things I had to commit to memory, and trying hard to keep myself from walking into walls, I had no idea how to transform my pixel self from awkward noob to sexy style goddess.
