Ivey Deschanel of SN@TCH is one of the creators in Second Life that Rezzable is more than happy to invite back for every event. 2010 - The Future Is Now is her fifth time participating with us, and she has not once failed to bring something interesting, astonishing and intrinsically Ivey. She visited Egyptian mythology with her Bast avatar for the Digital Alchemy event in April '09, and now she has further explored tales of humanity's faith with her Hindu Goddess Kali-Bhadra - but has blown her out in the most cybernetic tentacular way possible.

This is a full avatar, the only thing you'll need to wear is your shape and the most attitude filled poses you can stuff into your AO. The skin is a deep indigo, it's like being sheathed in liquid night. And then she smiles - and this is my favourite part of Kali-Bhadra, her irridescent blue teeth and nails.
But this is one of her hidden charms, of course. The first thing you notice is her waving tendrils, plugged into various parts of her anatomy. I'd like to say "Only in SL do I have to try to fit tentacles to my nipples..." but truth be told, I frequent some pretty wild bars. Her body is also truncated at the torso by discs separated by air, with a hint of her electronic soul visible underneath.

I've always loved Ivey's dreadlocks, and here she has them looped and piled high upon her head, when you no longer feel like being a Goddess you can easily wear these with your everyday av. It's the same with these badass boots, they will easily translate into another outfit. But why would you want to be anything less than a deity? This is how the creator herself describes her.
"Starting with an idea of the cyber alien manufatured of biological and mechanical parts she became a representation of the Hindu Goddess Kali taken to the future. The name Kali (or Kala's) origins mean black and death but since in folklore has come to mean "force of time" She is the goddess or war but also the goddess of time and change. Whether you consider her a warrior or a goddess or both is up to you."

Kali-Bhadra is now available at both the SN@TCH mainstore, and if you are lucky you may yet find her at Greenies sim.
