Fabulous Designers, Great Sim and One Exhausted Lokum

Fashion Inspired by Black Swan is now open and the first of three runway events is about to start soon.

15 month old SL experience, responsible for
merchandising of all Rezzable brands including Crimson Shadow, Carnival
of Doom and Greenies... Some crazy moments, mostly running and always
short of time but lots of fun... That's a little summary of my SL life
which is my RL work.

About a month ago, RightAsRain <---- (My sl/rl boss who
sits across me in our small office in London) came up with this great
idea, Fashion Inspired by Black Swan. His idea was to gather the most
talented in SL fashion world to be inspired by one of the greatest
built sims, Black Swan. The idea was great and I was the one to bring it
all together by Mid July.

If any of you reading this organised an event would
know things start out slow and it gets crazy towards the end. To get
minimum ten designers, media sponsors, modelling agencies, technical
issues, designs issues, notecards more notecards... So a month long of
chasing, chatting, exchanging ideas, I have managed to get 14 designers
who share one passion which is to create great outfits in amazing
details together under one sim. I was even heartbroken to turndown some
of the designers just because of the time limit and other restrictions.

During this one month, I have met some incredible
talent who have given so much to SL and they, themselves, inspired
young designers who are joining in everyday. Thank you all for all your
efforts to make this a one big event. Fashion Inspired by Black Swan is
openning today at 2pm SLT with a Fashion show and after party with Live
DJ. Please keep coming back cause we will be adding more designs during
the three week time.
