SL Ed Roundtable Meeting with Rightasrain Rimbaud

Yesterday, I have attended a roundtable discussion about Heritage Key and Open Sim at Montclair State University  sim grounds. For a copy of transcripts, please visit. Ignatius who is in RL , Joe Essid, University of Richmond Dept. of Rhetoric & Communication Studies has organised and led the roundtable with  Jon Himoff, CEO of Rezzable who is also know as RightasRain Rimbaud.

Regardless of the late hour of the roundtable it was extremely interesting. It gave a nice overall idea on the inspiration behind the content creation by Rezzable  in SL which started approximately 3 years ago, the reasons behind leaving Second Life and how Heritage Key commenced among all the other projects and where is Rezzable heading to with new projects.

I personally liked the conclusion and where we can do some thinking about the future of Virtual Experiences.  When asked about the future plans?
RightAsRain simply answered"the big picture is that the whole online media is changing the world dramatically online advertising has passed TV advertising in the UK the established media world is trying to come to grips with dramatic changes. We see the 3D web as fantastic opportunities (real-time social). We see multiple-device access to this coming soon and as convergence occurs, there will be a gap for new experiences
HK wants to pull all this together this is where HK sees ourselves as a new media organization"

If you want to learn what we are doing follow us on Heritage Key
