and the Battle for the Bedroom (or living room, parlor etc...)

Xbox to stream films...games meet films. When are Greenies in your tv? = Soon enough! from New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/business/AP-Microsoft-Netflix.html ''This generation of consoles will change the face of home entertainment more than any other generation before,'' said John Schappert, corporate vice president of Microsoft's interactive entertainment division. The nirvana of converge is coming! Praise the broadband almighty, praise the CPU and the scart card (EU joke hehe), praise the wireless mouse! The Greenies are preparing the probe and the mothership (oooo...!)

I fear broadband costs will

I fear broadband costs will still need to go down in Belgium then, for this to be a success here. We still pay at least 40 euro's for 20GB/month (upload & dl included). Add to that the 3 euro's - at least - that for instance i-watch.be (or is that iwatch.be) asks for a movie... . But it's indeed less trouble then having to DL a divx rip and appropriate codecs - and for some subs.
