The King Goes on the Open

King Tut Virtual Continues on the Heritage Key Grid

We are moving our King Tut Virtual special preview completely over to our Heritage Key grid today. We want to sincerely thank all the people that made it to the SL grid to see area and give us feedback. While the King Tut SL area is now closed, you can see even a more advanced preview on our OpenSim-based grid here. Come check it out and try to break it! (gently..that is).

If you go to the site and register an account, you will also notice that we are using the Imprudence viewer as the standard Heritage Key viewer.

The content has moved on a bit since the preview on SL. We still have some work to do of course. As always we greatly appreciate any comments and suggestions. You can drop you feedback here: King Tut Virtual Feedback Survey.

I guess this will be one of the first major projects to target the general public using OpenSim.  We are of course a little nervous to step out, but also feel the time is right to push forward.  Next week we will also be re-opening the Rezzable Private Grid and hosting a set of sandboxes as well as our other SL content.

We look forward to seeing you on a grid soon!

Hypergrid teleports

Can those of us with accounts on other OpenSim grids -- OSGrid, ReactionGrid, FrancoGrid, etc... -- hypergrid teleport in?

hypergrid is not running on

hypergrid is not running on the HK grid at this time. In general we are open to the idea of letting av's drop in, but not really how best to set this up right now. So sorry, for now you will need to create a new account which is a bit of a drag, but it only takes a few minutes. We will hopefully have the Rezzable grid linked to the HK grid--which are actually separate grids, but we will allow accounts across soon.
