SL Land Data (again)

No idea when this started, but I randomly noticed that LL is posting Island data again--more than 1,600 new islands since start of June bring total as of today to 23,446 islands.  No break-out on full vs openspace/homsteads or even the split between full price, discounted or education sims. I assume the new zimbo stuff is not included as that is a new kind of mainland. Last August LL was reporting more than 2,700 new sims in 6 weeks during Aug-Sep 2008 before the OpenSpace rip-off started.  I don't have the total figure from last year handy, but it was in the 25,000 range. Nonetheless 1,600 new islands is a pretty solid set of new sales.

Total avatars spending money is shown at 465,188 which is up a bit from 435,000 about a year ago although the overall spending seems about the same.  So it sorta seems like a few more people, but everyone spending each a little less. I think also probably prices for most merchandise items are lower as well.

Anyway, it would be interesting to know what people are doing with all these new islands. More of the same?
