PGA - 2nd Stress Test Party: More Party, Less Stress!

Let me first say a huge 'Thank you!' to all avatars (and their humans) that enjoyed the virtual pleasures of crashing & woot-I'm-not-crashing last night... and then guarantee them we've learned and made a few adjustments that will ensure there will be more Party and less Stress this evening.  A quick summary of the 1st Stress Party would go something like: "Maxed Greenies to the crash, learned a lot and bounced around party-style at Rezzable 3. Oh, and physics is still a b*tch." Tonight - 1PM SLT also - we're aiming for: "Party! (and a bit of stress testing still)" The changes:

HOME & FIRST REZZ LOCATION - REZZABLE 3

We won't be using Greenies as "home & first rezz location" anymore, so now after a crash, you can happily return to a less loaded and thus stable sim. Rezzable 3 will serve the purpose of Welcome Area and may also be used for 'light sandboxing'. (No physics testing there, please!)

GREENIES HOME & GREENIES HOME NO-SCRIPT

Greenies Home will stay as is (Although I'll go clean up a bit if I have time left), but it will get a little brother on Rezzable 2 named "Greenies No-script". Yes, correct, to study the difference in load between a heavy prim scripted area and one without. You're genius! ;)

REZZABLE 7 & 8 JOIN

Rezzable 7 and 8 are moved together. This way we can test sim crossings - no more using MAP to teleport - between 'light loaded areas'. Feel free to fly from 7 to 8 and let us know how this goes! =)

BUILDING & TELEPORTING - WHERE IS IT ALLOWED?

Terraform: Rezzable 3 (light) and Rezzable 5 (prefered location)
Building: Rezzable 3 (light), Rezzable 5 (heavy) and Greenies

The other sims are either dedicated to stay empty (Rezzable 4) or to a certain artist such as there are Eshi, Cheen & Spiral. We'll put signs up repeating this information, please respect them!

FREEDOM OF PRESS

We don't know how the "no photographs" clause ended up in the PGA's ToS. But please, forget you ever even read that. Replace it by: "Photography Encouraged!" Of course, if you snapshot or film, it would be swell if you add those photographs to the Rezzable Flickr Pool and tag them 'PGA'. If it's machinima - woot! - leave a link here in the comments! If somebody is looking extremely silly and you know they are a bit vain, do ask the avatar permission first! ;)

DJ'S & STREAM

Joining the lovely Amyorange Kidd is Chilli Cao. They will both supply tunes ranging from electro to minimal techno, and I promise I'll plug in the stream timely today! :)

FIXES

• The new launcher now also works for Vista 64 bit.  If you wish to use it, please deinstall your current Rezzable Launcher and install the new one.
• The frustrating "bend knees syndrome" when standing on virtual land, is now partially solved. If you have an avatar of reasonable size or smaller, you're posture is fine. Giants will still suffer.
