The 61 Music Group kicks off Gardenstock on Saturday June 7th

Music in the virtual world is thriving: lot's of DJ's, great parties and awesome Live Performances which you can attend regardless what 'real world' continent you inhabit. Just like the internet, this offers musicians the opportunities to get their songs heard by a much broader public, gaining new fans and feedback from people they would probably else never reach. The virtual world added another aspect to that: interaction. Although there is that '20 seconds delay' between what the artist plays and when the audience hears it due to the streaming, this is still an awesome thing. Artist can see - and hear - their virtual audience applaud, dance, faint and rezzing panties on the stage.

One of the most active music groups is 'The 61 Music Group'. This group exists out of musicians using both Second Life as well as The SixtyOne website to promote their music. Such a smart - and organised - use of Real World, Virtual World and a lineup of performances that 'would not be possible IRL' makes that they get their own, special day at the Garden of NPIRL Delights Garden Stock festival.

Saturday the 7th of June the stage is all theirs! We're honoured to have such nice 'gang' to do the kick off for the Gardenstock festival.

The Stage and How To Get There

Rob Balder, Madcow Cosmos and a few other geniuses designed a very NPIRL stage, filled with little 'develish' music and party fanatics. All Gardenstock performances will take place on that stage on 'Rezzable Design'. We enabled direct TP, so clicking here puts you on the front row where you can enjoy the show the best. We also stream the music to the 3 other Garden of NPIRL Delights sims - Explore, Create and Discover - so more people can enjoy the music. This also creates the possibility to explore the Garden Builds whilst listening to great live music!

Guestbook Functionality Enabled

At the Gardenstock stage we will set up a 'magical guestbook'. If your avatar is registered with rezzable.com, this guestbook enables you to send comments directly to the 61 music artist's page, using only a few in-world clicks. So if you want to say 'Oh, my god, this was a great show!' and the comment to be preserved for the artists so they can check on it later, this is the way to go.
