Fans have voted, and chosen their top 12 favorites to be shown in the Machinima Festival. It was great to see people support the machinima makers and to perhaps find new favorites. On Friday the 24th at the Cannery will be shown the 12 chosen machinimas. Without further ado I will announce the top 12.
With a landslide in votes Halden Beaumont took top honors for his beautiful machinima "Beyond Magic". Next it was Mescaline Tammas with her fun music machinima "Duran Duran Second Life Machinima Mashup" featuring Duran Duran's classic songs. Krrish Spyker's supernatural machinima "The Vistor" rounds out the top 3.
Since there were a few ties, more spots have been provided at the festival to accomadate everyone's favorites. A total of 15 machinimas are now invited to the festival! I look forward to this Friday's festival and to meet you all in world, and watch together these great examples of machinima in SL.

Congrats to all machinima

If anyone has any further comments about how this list was selected please let us know. Our objective was to help people that might want to check out machinimas find a short list for ones to watch. There really is no prize to be awarded more than giving the people who spent huge amount of time some viewership and spreading the word about what is possible using Second LIfe to make vids.
