2010 - Ophion and Echidna by Bare Rose

I think it's telling that when my best friend and blogging partner Summer Deadlight and I were exploring the Necronom for these photos, everyone we came across stopped to say "Hey, great outfits!" My response was the same each time - a  grin, and a comment of "Thanks! They are from Bare Rose, of course!" Yes, this actually happened. It's not just June Dion's biggest fanboi trying desperately to find an fresh intro for this post. But geez, it still would have been a good one even if I had made it up, eh?

I'm wearing Ophion, and Summer is in Echidna. And when we invited June to take part in the 2010 - The Future Is Now Rezzable fashion event at Greenies sim  it was clear that she was never going to disappoint with her submission. These were even better than I was hoping for though. The base of these ensembles are sleek silver formfitting bodysuits; covering just enough of the body in the female version to be borderline modest, yet very, very hot.

Both Ophion and Echidna feature the same great metallic sculptywork - a futuristic plate armour that would protect you from, well...  absolutely nothing really. But damn it looks good. The silhouette of both of these are made interesting by the chunkiness of the sculpts, placed at just the right parts of the body to accentuate the femininity of Echidna and the masculinity of Ophion.

All this is given extra drama by the glowy twin capes, and the myriad of tiny details that lurk all over these.  There are cameo faces on the belt, a mysterious insignia repeated on both styles, and fascinating button-knobbly-gear-thingys that crop up all over them. I zoomed in on these super close, and the texture on these is super detailed, they alone must have taken ages. I'm not going to show you those pictures though. Nope, you'll have to come to Greenies before the 1st of February and see for yourself. Both Echidna and Ophion are set at the usual how-does-she-do-it-low-price of under 200l that all Bare Rose goodness goes for. Plus it's transfer, so don't be scared to pick up one for a friend, and see if you can also talk her into dancing on a tabletop in a spaceship. Because it's ARTISTIC.

I kinda love my job.
