Ivey Deschanel of SN@TCH - who I recently personally crowned as "Goddess of the Badass Textile" - has come through yet again. A plea went out to her to create a men's outfit for the Black Swan - Winter Magic show, and boy, did she come through. With a KILT!

Not just any kilt - this sparkling white beauty named the "Snow Dragon." White being my favourite colour I was all over this the second it came out of the box, and people have had a very hard time persuading me to take it off since. Rumor has it that it was designed with someone we know in mind, but I'm not going to spread unfounded gossip all over the Rezzable blog. Just... watch out if you are on my friends' list, you'll be dealing with a very excited Vampire over the coming days. Okay, weeks.

The name comes from the dragon which is subtly emblazoned across the chest. The roll up cuffs add class and realism. It comes with a much more dramatic prim scoop neck than how I'm displaying it, I had to size it down just for the photo's sake. Don't kid yourself though - this is an attention grabbing ensemble in every way. Cashmere with a kilt - irresistable, or so I've been informed. Moments before it was torn off me.

I knew that if I attempted my standard white hair with this odds are I'd get totally lost in a snowdrift for several months - and whilst that wouldn't bother my Undead constitution at all I would be rather annoyed at missing out on all the Christmas parties. So I turned to the hair that Aemilia Case of Philotic Energy created for the show, Derek. This is the hair in Ruby, and as she describes it "An old world style gentleman’s wig, pulled back with a tie to feature your fine brow and a defining widow’s peak. Loose tendrils escape throughout the hair and frame your robust features. Perfect for 17th and 18th century roleplay and yet casual enough for every day, Derek is classic, simple and uncompromising." I couldn't agree more - even we faux gentlemen look halfway respectable in this creation.

To finish off the wild woodland look I was going for, I pulled on the Satyr Boots from SakuraDawn Lei of Lazy Places, again made specially for the Winter Magic show. Not only do these mythical beauties look good, but they leave a trail of snow and hoofprints behind you for a good couple of minutes! Hell fun to walk in circles around your friends and watch them turn blue. Also available in Centaur, Gryphon and - ew - Human, these - along with everything else I've featured here - are also on sale at the Black Swan sim for the duration of the event, until January the 9th. And if you missed today's show there are two more planned - stay tuned for details.
