PlayStation gaming coming to Android phones and tablets

The PlayStation Phones will be running Android 2.3 GingerbreadSony, the company behind PlayStation, today announced its next handheld device, codenamed NGP.  What to expect? Location based entertainment, social gaming and conversion of real and virtual worlds through augmented reality.

Yet, most surprising (to me), comes the announcement that the company will grant users “freedom of choice of their preferred hardware” –  making PlayStation content available for Android smartphones and tablets by the end of 2012.

Rezzable.com's Drupal 7 Makeover (an ongoing endeavour)

Rezzable.com needed a (serious) makeover - actually a from-the-ground-up new site, and we've decided to go with the freshly released Drupal 7 (and to not mention the 'SL' word if it can be avoided).  Although the release is about two weeks old, we're definitely not the only ones who opted to go with 7, rather than the more matured and familiar Drupal 6.  Usage statistics for 7 show already 23,257 installs.  No doubt many of those are 'test versions', but still, an impressive number.

Young kids better with tech than 'life skills' - should we be worrying?

Small children today are more likely to navigate with a mouse, play a computer game and operate a smartphone, than swim, tie their shoelaces or make their own breakfast. Just how much has children's interaction with technology changed?
