Rezzable Events in the Virtual World

Why are events listed in USA Pacific time?
Well, for some reason Linden Labs created a new locus of time in their virtual world, not UTC (although their servers of course are based on this) or GMT (which all the timezones in the world use as a reference). SLT tracks directly to time in San Francisco (which although a swell place, is not in fact a time center of the real or virtual world). No doubt this is confusing, but Google Calendar does try to help put time back into your local time if you add an event to your Google Calendar. Also, check-out this handy timezone converter here. But no matter what time it is... visit a Rezzable area and you will find places to explore and people to meet!
