With a lot of anticipation for new phone models this year, it is only natural for you to think of when to dispose of your old phone to make room for a new one. Big brands such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, Oppo, LG, HTC, Huawei and Blackberry are planning to advance their products and make significant improvements in line with the size, processing speed, usability, and phone storage.
New model’s release schedule
The 5G version of Samsung Galaxy S10 is set to hit the market in May 2019. In the Spring, Samsung Galaxy Fold, LG V50 ThinQ, and Sony Xperia 1 will be welcomed into the market as we expect new iPhones in the Fall. You can also look out for Huawei Mate X within the summer of 2019.
OnePlus seven is set to be released in late May together with a more expensive version of the OnePlus seven that is 5G enabled. Samsung-Galaxy Note 10, to be released in August 2019, promises to have a larger usable screen area as well as feature the Infinity-0 display.
Apple iPhone XS is expected to be here in September 2019, though many people are not sure if that will be its name or iPhone XI. In October, expect Google pixel 4 as the annual smartphone release. Huawei Mate 30 Pro, speculated to be the most expensive Huawei-phone might also land in October.
Oppo, HTC, LG, Sony, and Blackberry are also set to have some fantastic devices this year.
How to sell an old phone to pay for a new one
As you can see, the competition on the next big device is high, and you do not want to be left behind. First of all, you need to know the buy and sell trick on mobile devices. If you do your homework, you will find sites where you will not only be able to sell your old Google phone orBlackberry but also see reviews that will help you in decision making.
Note that, to be able to sell your phone at a high price, you need to sell it before the next version is out. After a new model of the Caterpillar phone is out, the previous model will sell at a way lower price. Also, to get the next version of the Caterpillar at a reduced price, you should at least wait for a month or two to buy it. It might even go down by half the launch price.
In some sights, selling a phone may be quoted at a relatively high price, if the phone is listed together with its complementary parts. For example, a blackberry with its charger and maybe earphones might cost £100 more than when the phone is listed on its own. Consider listing your old phone with these items to get more money from your sale.
Another way to make sure that selling an old phone earns you good money is by using the apple recycle program for iPhone-users. With this program, you can trade in your old phone for a new one and add a small amount to complete the trade. Otherwise, you can trade in your old iPhone-for credit and hold on for a better deal.
Note that you cannot sell a phone that you do not own. Before you think about selling the phone you currently possess, first, make sure that you completely own it. Many people buy phones at hire purchase which means if you have not finished paying your installments, you will not be able to sell it.
