To satisfy your curiosity, we've found some photographs from the last time I visited the Rezzable HQ in London. Sadly enough, RaR succeeded at escaping the camera BUT I did get a few nice ones from Miss Lokum:

Ok. I guess I screwed the 'secret' part up. Anyway, our R&D department says that it's going fine, but we're encountered some minor problems with letting a diversity of animations grow inside. Also, inserting Mono into the tree's DNA is giving us some problems.

Last two days Greenies forgot to send gifts to those brave avatars who help to them keep their kitchen clean from the 8-legged pests we call 'virtual roaches'. Our cute extraterrestrials apologise, and wish to say they rectified that error and do appreciate the loyalty of their pest control troops! Making sure this will never happen again, and so you know when exactly you should go roach hunting, here is the list for prizes that will be awarded to the best roach-killer of the day for the month of October:

The results from our visitor poll show that most people (51%) do not use inworld voice.  27% however, do like to use voice when they can.

This is a predicatable result really. 

Predictable because the core of SL users are accustom to inworld activities without voice as many people do not have confidence that it works well. Also the core SL user prefer to maintain some distance between their RL and SL personas--voice is in fact a very personal thing to share. Voice also breaks the immersion more than it adds to the inworld experience.

Maybe there is also a lack of compelling inworld content where voice is needed. Maybe the new open Vivox toolset will be a basis for new voice oriented content?

Finally, skype is a better alternative to inworld voice as there are more contacts possible and better quality. Where inworld chat is essential (and maybe should be improved to add value to inworld experience) voice is not so useful right now.

We have written before on how just fanatic WoW players can get - check out the WoWpod -, but this is a new one: two WoW fans decided to race across the Azeroth area on Real Life Foot. How did they do that? They hooked up two threadmills to their PC's and using the WoW scripting engine for input devices, they track the speed of their threadmills and convert that to in-world movement. Keep in mind: where the WoW character runs 12 miles/hour (20km/h), their humans only need to run 6 miles/hour (10km/h).

I had the pleasure of meeting great designers during the Fashion Inspired by Black Swan. Kuranosuke Kamachi from DeLA was one of them.

I have asked her to create two gorgeous gowns that would fit to our Crimson Shadow Collection and the new boutique in Black Swan.

Couple of weeks later Kuranosuke gave me these beautifully detailed, extremely delicate two gowns in two colors each. Even before, I have opened the folders I was stunned by the names of the gowns.

There wasn't a winner though because both outfits are amazing! Chrisy is wearing Eshi Otawara's Black Swan Ballerina dress and I'm wearing Rebel Hope's Wishbringer.
