++ Blue Blood++ new release Loreana

It's the last hours of Black Swan and  I have taken the path one more time and probably for the last time in Second Life. While I was snapping some photos I have realised  I was wearing a a Blue Blood dress for the closing of Crimson Shadow and here I am wearing a new release from Blue Blood for the last walk in Black Swan.

The grand look of the day

My Avatar's perfection just doesn't seem to be important

She just landed, she looks so peaceful!

So it has been a busy week. We had the fabulous Swansong Fashion Show on Monday which was breath taking and we still have the collection in Black Swan until the end of August. In the mean time, a lady is visiting Black Swan. She is the Grand Obalisque sleeping in one of the rooms . When I took my photos next to her I blured my perfection as her beauty looked rather real and mine more of a fantasy. The amount of detail in her skin and form is incredible. She seems so peaceful and real.

But I must say I am still in love with Tuli's Hope skin and have been wearing that none stop. Its the mystic beauty with great makeup.

Swan Song | Zaara : Vayu gown

It is quite easy to fell in love with the beautiful dress created by Zaara to the Swan Song. The dress was inspired in the element Wind (or Air) and has a rich texture work finishing in flowing leaves.

Vayu is the hindu word for air and is generally used in the sense of the physical air or wind.
In the hymns, Vayu is "described as having 'exceptional beauty' and moving noisily in his shining coach, driven by two or forty-nine or thousand white and purple horses. A white banner is his main attribute."

Swansong: Outside the Box

 Outside the Box I

Writing for the Swansong event has been an interesting challenge for me, personally: not only is there an elemental theme to keep in mind, but each blogger must execute their posts so that they are unique, despite us all working with the same items. This can tie us up in some knots or cause us to bump heads if we’re not careful.

Fortunately, we have a team that naturally thinks beyond limitations. Elusyve and Piston had their affair with Wretched Dollies, and now it’s my turn to get down and dirty with Gaia's Sonata.

 Outside the Box II

Swansong - The Black Canary by Morrigan Denimore

After Mister Morrigan Denimore was invited to participate in The Swansong he chose Air as his element, but with his male creation  he brought to it an aspect that had never crossed my mind - smoke. His female submission Ephemeral - as shown by Achariya and Elusyve - was a sunlit dream composed of wafting feathers,  but Lament is a sorrowful vision of darkness.

Swansong: Dark Water

 Dark Water I

The Black Swan is characterized by large, dynamic structures throughout the sim. These outcroppings of rock and art are the main features of the land, but surrounding them all is a vast sea. While not the center stage, the water illuminates the effigies and allows them to truly stand out amongst each other. Truly, the area would not cast the same awe on visitors if they were enclosed by earth.

Similarly, the articles taking center stage at the Swansong event are primarily female. However, there are masculine partners to a few pieces that help showcase the feminine beauty of their counterparts. One such companion is Blue Blood’s Oceanic Sonata.

Swan Song | Elenia (Sunny)

Elenia is the creation for The Swansong by Kellie Iwish of Elate! and it is a dazzling dress created in colours matching the elements. This dress is in a smooth yellow reminding the soft sun rays early in the morning.

The skin was created specially for SwanSong and comes from Pulse. The hair is the Tiny Bird contribute to SwanSong and comes with black and white feathers to choose from.

Swansong: Remnant of Air

 Remnant of Air I

The phrase “seeing is believing” has circled about conversations for ages. And for equally as long, the string of words has been tested and disproved. Nothing so clearly crushes this idiom as air: invisible to the eye, yet completely surrounding us. It’s constant presence makes the element easy to forget, but our lives depend on it to be there; and while we normally move through it freely, the right conditions can whip it up into deadly winds.

In the storm of the Swansong, the Sweetest Goodbye has unleashed the Placebo.

Swan Song: Oceanic Sonata by Blue Blood

bb01

Blue Blood's Ocean Sonata is made for men of a certain character. To wear this outfit, the avatar has to be comfortable in structured frock coats reminiscent of the late Victorian era -- manly in its own way, with a hint of perverse femininity in the wrap of tail-skirt around the ankles. Sea waves adorn this outfit, from the texture of the fabric to the stripe of the pants to the lighter embellishments of the cuffs. The tails are tied together with a prim chain, and the pants descend from the knee in an alternating fabric to resemble the leather spats worn by working men of the era. This sea-toned fantasy is available at Rezzable's Swan Song.
