Swansong less then 10 hours for the Fashion Show. Last night, I had the pleasure of watching the rehersal show with a handful of friends and designers. It was only during the show that I have seen all of the designs and I must say they are all unique and nothing like you have seen before. As you know, we wanted to close the Black Swan sim with a last fashion event which all started with Fashion Inspired series. The last is called Swansong which brings together the Earth, Fire, Air and Water elements. The designers were asked to create around those four elements which are highly emphasized in the Black Swan sim itself.

From Japanese ancient drawings of Waves, to sculpted fires, mermaids, and earthly sexy gods and goddess form the gowns this time. This is only some of course and  all together we have 30 Designers who made gorgeous hair , gowns, jewellery and skin all around these 4 elements.

Crimson Shadow home to beautiful designs and great gothic built, as you might  all know, is now closing down on July 15th less then two weeks time. Many fun events are organised by the loyal DJs and the Crimson Family. Also almost all items ,male and female clothing, are now 50 Lindens until the sim is closed on July 15th . So hurry up and snatch some gorgeous gowns and jewellery at 50 Lindens. Crimson Shadow tp now!

Last week Vint's parking skills was part of the captions. Our winners are as follows :

Petrachaa Doobie for first place with "Vint was shocked that her car looked worse after coming back from Linden Motors"

The second place goes to Serafina Devin "Vint had found the fabled Magical Car Tree, but she couldn't decide.. should she pick its fruit now or wait until it grew a roof and ripened to a nice shade of red?"

The third place goes to Kasumi Reiko " Vint:  "So when they say "Cruise Control", they don't mean the car drives it's self... Gotcha..."

Rebel Hope and Rezzable have done many projects in the past. The Wishbringer  outfit which was part of the Fashion Inspired by Black Swan was a great big success. Fire Goddess idea started from this wonderful ensemble and turned it one sexy hot outfit all designed around the Mary Mayhem model by the talented great designer Rebel Hope.

In the past, Rezzable has organised some wonderful fashion events in Black Swan. It all started with Fashion Inspired by Black Swan back in August 2008 . Then we had Passions of Black Swan, Winter Magic. Each and every single one was a great pleasure to organise and share with the fashion lovers, desginers, and bloggers. These events combine the magical side of Black Swan all built by the creative mind of Lightwaves with the passion of each designer that participate in the events and of course the wonderful SL community that support the hard work of the organisers and designers.

Runway Magazine creating a feed through our blogs then get published again in other feeds.  Like we needed that spam. In their blog no contact information is given so that  I can contact them to be taken out of that feed. Also they say that the blog is no longer monitored. Fashion World of SL is one of the only places I turn to catch up with fashion news daily but I hate to see that people try to spam it without the consent of others.  Please do take the Rezzable website from your feed. I guess if this doesnt work we will need to complain to Wordpress.

Shop of the great designer Digit Darkes

The day dawns bright and clear, with a cup of coffee you sit down to at the computer to log into Second Life.  While sipping the steaming hot morning crack, you finally see the "downloading clothing" bar.  As the world comes into focus, notice after notice drops down.  Absent-mindedly, you start clicking through them, when suddenly one catches your eye....."Fashion Show".  Having attended other fashion shows, you know to wear as little prims and no scripted items, so the challenge is still finding an outfit that is still fashionable.  After take an hour or so to dress, you tp to the location, when the lag hits you.  Walking slowly to the runway while greeting all your friends, you finally make it and take a seat.  The music swells around you creating the mood, when suddenly the show begins.  Focusing your camera on the models, your breath catches at the designs presented.  You want them all.  As the show draws to a close, a thought flutters across you mind, "I wonder what happens behind the scenes?"

Rezzable had the first fashion show of Digital Alchemy - Fashion Inspired by Ancient Egypt to a small group of Bloggers on Wednesday 2pm SLT.

As the models came out of the sun along with some exotic music there was silence. Silence has lasted for a while so many beautiful skins, hair, gowns, shoes and jewellery to look at that I could tell noone dared to type even WOW!.

Surrounded by beautiful water and hippos under the Egyptian sun we sat back and enjoyed the show. There are many photos to look at and some sneak preview machinima is on the way but in the mean time please go through some of these wonderful photos taken by Tillie and my pool of photos at flickr.

Rezzable presents you Winter Magic at Black Swan. The event will start with a great big fashion show and an after party at 2pm SLT on December 15th. So many great designers and loads of magical designs for you to choose from.  I have not seen any of the designs yet but I know all of the designers participating have had many sleepless nights to get you the best. So mark your calendars for the fashion show you know it gets full very quickly so be there early but if you  miss the first one don't worry there will be two more and you can find the whole Winter Magic Collection till the the 9th of January in one spot in Black Swan.
