Friday, April 19th 2009 - It's 11:50am SLT and sweat collects itself in my helmet. 3 weeks organization and now it finally starts. The big spring festival. I am excited but also very nervous. Hopefully the guests like the decoration and find their way to the stage area. The SL event calender shows our festival, flyers and posters are out since 2 weeks, I got already the stream urls of the live musicians and send notices out now. Ufff. Did I forget something? Hmm. I don't think so. 12:06pm SLT: The first guests arrive and the stage area fills slowly. Zorch is ready and the show can begin! The clock shows 12:24pm SLT and i get a message from the 3rd live performer of today's daily. Artel Brando: "I can't be ther e... they changed my other gig to 1-2pm SLT and i'm not able to do 2 hours live set without break". Nuuuuh! But his situation is understandable. Luckily i have my fantastic hostess Sarlah which helps me out and offers to DJ one hour to cover the gap. *hugs* 12:45pm SLT: The festival revives and I count 36 people now. Zorch is a great musician and right after him performs Maximillion Kleene, a big fan of our green community.

Finally it's spring again. The garden blossoms, the earthworms bask in the rain, the birds twitter and the frogs spawn in the puddles. The Greenies enjoy the lively nature very much and would love to celebrate this inspired season with a big Spring Festival! It takes place at Greenies Lawn Rezzable on the weekend after Easter. 3 days full of live musicians, RL DJs and fun on a gigantic scale. April 17th - 19th.

Fashion Inspired by Crimson Shadow has inspired more than just actual fashion.  It also inspired the urge to party!  Yesterday, Crimson Shadow played host to an invite-only crowd of revelers that included the designers who are participating in the event, bloggers, friends, and the occasional random but righteous person! 

The theme was a "Killer Masquerade," and the guests certainly looked the part.  Amongst squeals of "Ooh!" and "Wow" and the ever popular "Hoo!," Lokum Shilova was kind enough to take some pictures while everyone was looking all fancy and fabulous (just click the link to see all of em).  Considering the technological miracle it must have been to take pictures at all with the amount of people present, I'm obliged to show you a few while I wax poetic about the party.

The GMF 2008 sponsored by Languagelab has come to an end. We had great DJ's performing, awesome live artists, lots of maxed streams and lovely gadgets. DJ Heroin Allen fashionable as ever with Rouge Darcy's Liquid Flower in Peach color streaming live from Tokyo in Crimson Shadow for the Global Music Festival sponsored by Languagelab

Heroin Allen loves fashion and Trance music, lives in Tokyo and DJs regularly in Crimson Shadow and Club Haze. The other day, I have spotted her wearing this cute outfit from the Passion of Black Swan Rouge Darcy's Liquid flower ensemble. Liquid Flower brings some freshness to the usual gown collection. Is so far the most sought after cute outfit of the event.

One year ago, I TPed to a sim that I had seen on flickr and was desperate to see.  It hadn't officially opened, but was still able to get in and look around.  What I saw stunned me.  Here, for the first time, I found a vampire sim that wasn't tacky or over the top in cheesy goth.  I wasn't able to spend a long time there but as I was preparing to leave, I was stopped by the manager asking if I was interested in dancing in the club.  Now, up till then I had no source of income in SL and was making my money by sploders (yes I'm a veteran ;-)).  At first I was a bit apprehensive, as most times in my association with clubs in SL, dancers also had to strip.  After having a brief conversation with the manager, all my fears were banished and thus began my career in Crimson Shadow. 

Rezzable presents the 2008 Global Music Festival live on the grid, sponsored by Languagelab. The festival is a month long showcase for live DJs and performers working with non-English based lyrics and international beats. Great sounds and energy will flow across the metaverse. Starting September 3rd running till the end of September, the festival will be hosted across the more than 20 rezzable virtual world areas.
