You probably already guess what this post is about...when I first thought about blogging a wedding look it felt very ironic because neither in SL nor in RL I'm actually thinking about marriage ever. But then again isn't SL and also my Blog about trying things and imagining what if..? Voted yes, so this is exactly what I'm doing today if I found the man of my life and we were both sure and love each other dearly then I would want the perfect wedding starting with the perfect dress, hair, accessories, make up, location , party...ok. One by one lol. I love classic combined with extraordinary. Sparkle Skye is THE wedding supplier in SL so IF i would marry I pay her shop a visit first.

2010 - The Future Is Now and is happenning in every second we waste in pointless issues. What matters is now and how fast we want to enjoy our future.

Most science fiction novels and stories focus on alternate future or alternative futures where it is believed that the future is toxic. Errr... that the air is no longer breathable (thus the gas mask). In some of my dreams, this is how I portrayed the future. Note that an alternate future is not a possible future; it's merely how someone imagines the future.

What if we could time travel? Would you? Would your future be toxic...?

As humanity races forward to the future, we have run smack into challenges that threaten to overthrow us. Over the past decade, the issue of environmentalism has swelled with our expanding global connections and consequences for past generations' actions come to the forefront. Therefore, when we look at is yet to be, it is not just relevant, but critical to consider the question, "What will we throw away?" 

When it comes to the word futuristic, most people seem to think about Star Treck and Matrix like scenarios. Machines will rule the world and the Humans will live in space wear colored Pajamas or whatever lol sorry Treckies. Most are torn inside about this fact half fascinated half horrified, about a possible future where machines control/ dominate with strict organization which leads to the loss of accidents everything is planned into the last detail even the genetics of our kids. Ok It doesn't have to be exactly this disturbing, we could also be wise learn to live with our natural resources and have peace on earth -  oh sweet dream. But what if it all turns out the opposite way? What if our future isn't fully technologized for example like in the Movie Mad Max where our world is more like a dead dessert and we live more primitive again.

Creepy crawlies, grim ghouls, and all that goes bump in the night have slithered out of their haunts and into our realm as the 31st of October looms on the horizon. Halloween has come knocking to 2009, and few can deny its call: for one month, the world celebrates the dead, deviance, and - above all - being different. This holiday, the throne for the favorite fiend has a number of competitors, offering the living a variety of options to create their own unique monstrosity-

As the leaves change into their autumn hues and chilly breezes nip at our heels, its clear that the fresh, bright seasons of spring and summer have bid us adieu for the year. This does not mean, however, we cannot look fondly back at what they brought us, especially in the realm of fashion-

Tis the season to be Orangey, and by all reports back to my elven headquarters, the SL grid is awash in the joy that is Orange. I have a little confession to make, and you may want to sit down for this one --  even though I adore orange and vampyres, and I not a big fan of Halloween *GASP*!

I suppose it has to do with exactly how Halloween is now celebrated and if you asked most of the candy-gobbling ghouls out there, they wouldn't have the faintest idea beyond the sugar rush, regarding the origins of said day. Its the modern-sanitizing of these celebrations that leave me a little luke-warm, but it is a wonderful time to find the best in Orange in everything.

The Black Swan is characterized by large, dynamic structures throughout the sim. These outcroppings of rock and art are the main features of the land, but surrounding them all is a vast sea. While not the center stage, the water illuminates the effigies and allows them to truly stand out amongst each other. Truly, the area would not cast the same awe on visitors if they were enclosed by earth.

Similarly, the articles taking center stage at the Swansong event are primarily female. However, there are masculine partners to a few pieces that help showcase the feminine beauty of their counterparts. One such companion is Blue Blood’s Oceanic Sonata.

Sometimes its the smallest things that make us happy.  In Second Life, for moi, two small things make me a happy consumer; when items come on all layers, and when multiple attachment points make sense, that the designer include these in your purchase.  Brandy Rasmuson  of Shine makes me very happy because she does this with her jewelry.  Here you can see, I am wearing both the choker and the necklace (and the bracelets) from her "Nereid" set which was for made for the Swan Song event., because, yes, for each item, she includes both the spine and the chest.  This also is wonderful when you are trying to work in jewelry with more ornate ensembles, as it sames you time (yes I am a lazy butt) from having to mod it to a different point yourself.  KK.. nuff gushing!
