Black Swan has been filled with some  wonderful dresses, skins, hair, and jewellery all of which have been so beautifully created.Each design have gorgeous details like the one on the left by Zaara Kohime. Look at those leaves how they fly with the wind.

I must say as this is the last show in Black Swan I am rather emotional. When we first had the idea of Fashion Inspired series based on Black Swan we never really thought it would be such a great success. Through many events, I have met many designers, models and bloggers who then became friends. I am sure we will come up with some other ideas to work on together. I am going to be a bit secretive shhhhhh but already some ideas are developing so be prepared :)

Before I say too much, I just wanna remind you some important dates.

First one is today : wonderful Model, DJ , fashionista and a friend Mavi Beck is throwing a great big three hour long party in Black Swan.

Swansong less then 10 hours for the Fashion Show. Last night, I had the pleasure of watching the rehersal show with a handful of friends and designers. It was only during the show that I have seen all of the designs and I must say they are all unique and nothing like you have seen before. As you know, we wanted to close the Black Swan sim with a last fashion event which all started with Fashion Inspired series. The last is called Swansong which brings together the Earth, Fire, Air and Water elements. The designers were asked to create around those four elements which are highly emphasized in the Black Swan sim itself.

From Japanese ancient drawings of Waves, to sculpted fires, mermaids, and earthly sexy gods and goddess form the gowns this time. This is only some of course and  all together we have 30 Designers who made gorgeous hair , gowns, jewellery and skin all around these 4 elements.

In the past, Rezzable has organised some wonderful fashion events in Black Swan. It all started with Fashion Inspired by Black Swan back in August 2008 . Then we had Passions of Black Swan, Winter Magic. Each and every single one was a great pleasure to organise and share with the fashion lovers, desginers, and bloggers. These events combine the magical side of Black Swan all built by the creative mind of Lightwaves with the passion of each designer that participate in the events and of course the wonderful SL community that support the hard work of the organisers and designers.

Rezzable presents a brand new sim and celebrating it with talented wonderful designers who bring you stunning designs all inspired byAncient Egypt.

Digital Alchemy - Fashion Inspired by Ancient Egypt is having  its first fashion show tomorrow, Wednesday 2pm SLT, just for bloggers and press. If you have not received your invite then  please IM me to be added to the access list. The main fashion show will be on Friday February 6 at 2pm SLT. The fashion area will be open to public but the rest of the gallery you will need to register with our website just a click away. Its all worth it as more exciting news do follow and you will be the first to know.

It's not dark, it's light, even against the background of night. I stepped onto the nebula and was reminded of my first starwatch on top of Mauna Kea as a girl. The sky was stunning, awash with more stars than I thought existed. It made me realize that the light that humans create is everywhere, in this day and age. Once upon a time, however, the world was dark at night, except for the stars.

Then, the mask of King Tut rose before me, floating in surreal peace in the middle of the void. Spirals of a galaxy stretched beneath my feet, beckoning me downward (if space has a down) toward...something. The walk is long but interesting. Along the way are artifacts, shards and relics, knives and jewels and holy things.

I have never realised the word Egypt can give so much insprition to many designers.

Yes !!! finally I survived through the Christmas season with the in-laws in Paris. Yes!!! we ate way too much. Yes!!!! The kids were all sick :) Paris was cold but it seems like everywhere is cold this year... Santa is the coolest ever again with great gifts ... Still don't know how does he do it... so another holiday season is almost over and I am back to work.

Voshie Paine and Adaire Decuir have been working endlessly to get the first bilingual Fashion show together today at winter magic at Black Swan Sim. While we are getting the last minute details ready I wanted to share this photo I have taken before my holdiays at Crimson Sahdwo sim wearing Paper Couture dress created by Ava Lu for the Winter Magic Show and the Obscene Skin again created for the Winter Magic show. They go so well together. Also above is the full ensemble of the Paper Couture dress including the skin and the hair.

Adaire DeCuir, one of Winter Magic's event creators and bloggers, will be emceeing over the stream in English (while trying to keep her Southern U.S. accent under control!) with DJ Gecko Gorilla providing his magical mood-setting music. The show will also be in Japanese in open chat, celebrating the exciting contributions of some of the most well-known Japanese designers in Second Life™, including Kotobuki Jewell of Bijou, Toraji Voom of DP YumYum, Vooner Voom, Rainier Latte, and Denchu Dench of Den-Dou.
