Last I reported, I left with the sorrowful prospect of sentience thrown away. But with the dark, there is light, and with a negative outlook of the future, there is an optimistic one awaiting. As current issues ask what we throw away, they also pose the question, "What will we grow in the future?"

Sleek, metallic urban centers with cybernetic details is one predominant perspective of what our world will look like the in future, along with the bleak outlook of a battered dystopia blanketing the planet. There is another major view, however, inspired by when we cast our eyes upward. The cosmic bodies of the universe have been researched and mundanely explained over the past century, yet still their wonder endures...

"Boom Boom Pow" Was the name of the first single release of the latest album by the Black Eyed Peas, the visual side of the song the Video was made in a futuristic style. Lightings, neon colors, robot like outfits and dance moves, outta space shots, mostly dark scenes with spotlight. The song and the video were a massive success for the band. I also bought the album. :D Question is why am I telling you about this? It is another perfect example that Rezzable is going with the futuristic trend with their newest Event: 2010 - The Future is Now". Where many great SL designers got inspired to create something special just for this event.

The fashion industry has never been one to wait around for societal norms to jump into a new era, and the runways in multiple worlds lately have been graced with sleek, edgy designs hailing from the future. Rezzable's 2010 - The Future is Now event has collected a number of the best creators to focus our scopes on what may be in store fo us, and I managed to catch one of the designs in action- the Razor Girl by +DV8+.

Our previous episode described a new player the table, Onlive.  Onlive offers the prospect of a major change in the infrastructure used to deliver online games and the virtual reality that they live in.    This episode examines the prospects for this change and some of the futures it may offer.

New Year's resolutions is something 'atomics' are bound to do. Cleaning out the inventory & keeping it organised. You're a practical person, liking everything tidy & neat. But you're always busy in-world, and 'inventory management' is something you don't always have the time for. This year, from start to end, you're going to be tidy. Every notecard will go in the correct folder, every 'object' prim that's no use will be deleted. "Keep it under 10,000!!!" is your motto. Until the 1st of March when you'll start to slack off again.
