Shall we call creative activity play?

I come to that question from a blog post, Playing with Pixels, by Jaen Wirefly.   (Of course, I got that post through the services of my Google Reader.)

And the phrase reminds me of a comment by the well-known Second Life artist, Juria Yoshikawa, about his experience in coming into Second Life.

“…I started to rediscover the sense of play…”

Week 3 Caption Winner

WhatHappensAtDoubleQLuckyChairs

Five exhausted Americans learned the hard way that waiting on queue really was best left to the British.

This week's winner for the weekly caption contest is none other than Ceejay Writer!  Even as an American, I enjoyed this caption very much!  It's true the Brits know how to queue up, hehe.  Ceejay has won 2,000L and the chance to choose this coming week's new caption picture.  So be on the lookout for the next game, which will be starting up again shortly!

Be sure to keep adding your goofy, strange, and just plain funny pictures to the pool!

Congrats Ceejay!

Caption Contest Deadline!

The Rezzable Caption Contest comes to an end on Wednesday, March 11th, where a winner will be selected, and they will choose the next picture for the weekly game, to be posted on Friday.  So if you haven't already be sure to put on your thinking/funny cap and come up with some great captions!

"Primtionary" at Asim Zahra

"Primtionary" is a charades-style game in which the audience tries to guess a secret word that the player expresses by "building" it with prims. A schedule for the game is posted at the entry (there's a game almost every day) and it's free to play. A great way to meet people in a friendly, gaming environment. Highly recommended for the logophiles out there.
