Halloween Fiends 2009

Wicked Munchkin by Green Dream on FlickR

Creepy crawlies, grim ghouls, and all that goes bump in the night have slithered out of their haunts and into our realm as the 31st of October looms on the horizon. This holiday, the throne for the favorite fiend has a number of competitors, offering the living a variety of options to create their own unique monstrosity-

Spring/Summer '09 Reflections

As the leaves change into their autumn hues and chilly breezes nip at our heels, its clear that the fresh, bright seasons of spring and summer have bid us adieu for the year. This does not mean, however, we cannot look fondly back at what they brought us, especially in the realm of fashion-

Pretty in Pink

John Hughes movies have a speacial warm place in my heart. As I grew up, I have watched many of them over and over again and still watch some with my kids now. Thank you Achariya for  putting out a challenge in Memory of John Hughes I sort of needed that and I must thank Mavi Beck for giving me wonderful tips in putting this outfit together. Tped to Cupcakes sim to put together my outfit felt like I have walked into Topshop in London Oxford Street. Wonderful, young fashion with great quality in many different stores can be found there. The wings have parted at the Black Swan, revealing its clutch of treasures to the world once more… for one last time. Sweet and Innocent Bride Look

Choosing your bridal look is a major challenge. I have bought a couple of outfits which really didn't work, then got sidetracked and bought the whole store of DPYummYumm. Errr... yes mind of  a woman is easily distracted when left in a shop full of cuteness. A bit of a disaster but hey money was well spent.

When I finally decided on the actual dress things were a bit easier.  Zaara's Hansika gown which is originally not a bridal gown but easily  can be used as one.  I adore this gown  which was originally created for WInter Magic Fashion Event at Black Swan. I have worn  and blogged this Hansika Gown in several occasions and I simply adore the texture, flow and magical look  of this gown. Once I decided on the gown, everything sorta fell together. Thanks to Zaara Kohime's advice on hair and hair flowers I managed to get this sweet and innocent bridal look that I was searching.

Queen for a Day

The mythos and history of ancient Egypt has long been a RL fascination of mine.  In an era of hunters and gatherers, an oasis of art, science, and great riches arose.  While all the world struggled to survive, the Egyptians built a civilization and monuments that we still marvel at today.

Outfitted in my favorite SL exploring ensemble from Last Call(no longer avail), boots from Kitties Lair, and pith helmet from Magi Take, I set out for Kings Rezzable to explore this new virtual environment.

One of the most powerful aspects of Second Life is the ability to create things that resemble reality but aren't held to any of the physics of reality. It's the nod to reality that counts, the magical realist moment when you think that everything is normal until you look down and see that her heels are adorned with tiny wings... Oh, not me, not in this picture. Then again, look at my hair...

Hot look of the day

I love Selos Dae [[Trap]] skins so when I saw a new release I rushed to the Twillight store to buy the new skins. My favourite one was the Eye skin that Selos created for the Killer Designers Show inspired by Crimson Shadow a while back. Koi Rose has got so much more to offer. I love it. Also during the past events we have organised I had the pleasure of meeting Helena Stringer and her wonderful hair. I must say I always end up wearing her male hair :) Kamenwati- Red Shine was created for Digital Alchemy but now available at The Stringer Mausoleum
