It is the middle of June and it is pouring out there. It is not even one of those warm rainy days errr it does feel like autumn. After living in London for quite a while now I am beginning to be like a real English and start each conversation about the weather or my blogs =) So if you are living somewhere sunny please enjoy it for me also. Today , besides the weather I wanted to share these wonderful baggy trousers with you. They are called the Tokeo Unisex Ravepants in Red from the Tokeo Plastik Store The store has got the cutest selection of colors and styles of trousers. Very hard to make a choice. I went with the flaming red color and matched with the KatatOnik's Strawberry Dream Legwarmer Boots. These boots are chunky and yummy with those strawberries sticking out.

Noam Sprocket of Gritty Kitty and I chatted the other day about what constitutes a neko. He should know, owning one of the premiere Neko style shops on the grid. "The whole combination of grunge and neko that started in 2006 was really a marketing ploy," he said. "But I've always wanted to play with neko looks. Like...maybe European? Shiny pants...bright colors..."

Who doesn't like carnivals with twisted fun houses?

Ivey named her outfit Bastet, which is where I began my wander through mythos. She has cat ears and tail and skin as dark as the bottom of the Nile, and she prowled like a lioness through my imagination. Bastet was a dual goddess -- in the morning, a sleepy lioness in the sunshine; at night, a cat in the moon. She was born to Re, the sun god, who defeated his enemies in cat form. She gave birth to Khonsu the moon god, and she is all that is soft and dangerous at once.

Greenies did not sit still the last few weeks. Actually, they never keep still - so much things they want to do, so much things they want to see, and so much things they want to test out - but lately... well, these have been very productive weeks in the Greenies era.

Not only did they give 'birth' to two utterly cute Tinie Greenies, no, they also launched 7 new Greenies Avatars for the 'Greening the Grid by Blending in' mission. I must admit, they tried their best and succeeded! ;)
