Rezzable Grid : New Opennings in the New Year

Bryn Oh's Vision is coming alive on the Rezable grid!  With 45,000 prim space available at her disposal, her imagination is oozing creativity, as she is creating another one of her amaizng immersive environments.  A work of art you can walk through, immerse yourself in, experience in a way you cannot normally experience art.

The Philadelphia Area New Media Association, in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, will be hosting an event on Wednesday, July 29th featuring speakers Pavig Lok and LIttleToe Bartlett of Rezzable. 

Discussion will focus on the benefits and challenges of developing on OpenSim based technologies - how running one's own private grid compares to working within Linden Lab run Second Life Grid™

The Mixagrid will Mix Communities

This article continues previous articles about the implications of OnLive for the future of Second Life.:

People are known by the communities they keep.  Note that plural.  People rarely live in just one community.  You will immediately think of work and home communities.  Or take my article last week about how video work could be moved to a private grid.  The video production could be moved to a private grid because at that point it does not need a large network like Second Life.  It does need a larger network for a casting call.
