L.O.V.E. *RP*

One of the things I most enjoyed when I first joined SL was roleplay.  I participated in a number of types of roleplay, including, as you would imagine, any type accepting of elves.  Yes, as shocking as it may be to you, my gentle readers, there are some places that are not welcoming of the long ear'd kind *gasp*

For me, part of the attraction is dressing my avatar for the role she is in.  This helps get me in character and in the appropriate mood.  So I am always pleased when I find a shop that creates clothing for the roleplayer in all of us.  Viv Trafalger Outfitters is one such shop, catering to a variety of styles and roles.  I especially enjoyed just reading the descriptions of her work, clearly a very creative and imaginative mind.

L.O.V.E. The Camisk

Indulgences.  Often our Second Lives allow us the ability to flirt with our indulgences, guilt free.  One of my lil sekrit ones is camisks.  I adore these.  I know that for most, “Gorean” comes to mind and while it is true that the camisk is a garment used in Gorean Roleplay, it is also a very versatile item that can be easily incorporated into any wardrobe.

One of the first times I remember seeing a Camisk hit the mainstream Fashion feeds was with “Flourish“ from Haven Designs.  This was truly such a beautiful item, that it was soon seen on some of the most fashionable in SL.

L.O.V.E. "Bikini"

Although the SL fashion season calendar roughly follows the North American seasons, one of the joys of SL is that it is always summer somewhere!  It only takes a click and you can find yourself in a lush tropical paradise, where only the skimpiest of the skimpy will suffice. Sometimes... as you see in the centre model, it goes beyond skimpy, to just wearing your tanlines..

Just a simple thank you ...

Lately, I have not been spending much time in Second Life and today I have realised how much I have missed it. The shopping, blogging, taking photos etc.

The first time I had to blog a fashion item I was terrified. First of all, I am not great with words, I don't know how to dress it up =) I just choose the simple, direct way when I communicate. But I do love taking photos and playing around with PS and creating an image.

At the end, I have this great appreaciation for wonderful bloggers that write extremely well, put together outfits in the most creative ways and always evolve ... Evolve in their way of writing, style, skills... It's a hell of a job and one must really enjoy it to give that daily effort and be there for the readers everyday .

So ... Simply .. I just wanna say simple  thank you to -

Sysy Chapman for sending me a wonderful present and most important as recognising my little effort in the fashion bloggers world.
