As Second Life turns 6, Linden Labs provides a vast virtual meteor of 20 sims which are both dark and glowy. Some would say it's an odd setting for an occasion like a birthday party...as it sends the message of both uncertainty with some rays of hope. However it is pretty indicative of most thoughts regarding this year's theme....the future.
The other day , I was in Tunnel of Light just wondering around and I came across this glowy frog ready for a race =) Let's see who jumps further or who will caption it the funniest.

The one and only DJ Apocalypse 7is going to be spinng his own mix of tunes for all of use to hear at Club Haze. Yes, you heard right his own mix of music. So, this prmoises to be an unique experise for your ears and what can be better than hearing new, unique music? Simple, nothing.

The person the most glowtastic will be recieve win several prizes rangign from Rezzable appearal to a few mystery prizes taht you will just have to show up to find out about . "Ain't I a stinker?" Glow is often used incorrectly, and hard on the eye, however Tunnel of Light defies all stereotypes in demostrating how glow can be used to create an atmosphere of wonder and delight.
When you first arrive at Tunnel, you follow the path which leads you to a paper sailboat on a pond. Transporting you, you fall down a hole that gives you a taste of what is to come. Upon landing, you encounter your choice of teacups to embark you on your ride. Friends or lovers are able to experience Tunnel of Light, offering 2 different teacups to suit your needs. Once you have decided upon your relationship, you are on your way!
St. Patrick’s Day is a time of green, drinking, merriment, all things Irish, and for a little luck. Well, since Second Life is virtual place, sadly you are going to have to bring your own booze. Not that you would want a lager of Linden Lab Brewery, it has no flavor and tons of empty lag-calories and you can’t get a buzz off it.
However, we at Club Haze can provide you plenty of things green and sure t delight you textured eyes. You just have to bring one more thing though. “Why?” you may ask, simply put from the 15th to the 21st of March, club Haze is going to be the site of The Four Leaf Clover Hunt.
There are going to be seven four leaf clovers hidden all around the Tunnel of Light sim filled with some of the best and most unique prizes that you can find packed in a tiny green plant. Then again this is Second Life; I wouldn’t be surprised if you could find a Buick in lint.

For a bato like me out on the trail, riding from sim to sim with nary a care in the world other than to make some quick cash and move on, the strange and fantastic and twisted do little to unnerve me. I’ve seen things that would make your blood turn to ice; entire areas filled with n00bs, spamming gesture after gesture as they writhe and beg everyone around them for ‘monies for pen15’. I’ve seen entire sims dedicated to the seedier side of the market, where those engaged in carnal acts speak one word, typically ‘mmmm’, if that even qualifies. I’ve seen haunted buildings, filled with evil and scary sound-effects that genuinely made me want to run screaming in the other direction. I’ve seen aliens, and furries, and zombies, and giant robots and cel-shaded cartoon characters. In my head rests an entire repository of crazy knowledge, passed down from my years of exploring this place we call Second Life.
Grey sky, cold weather and short days... All a bit bleh ! At least, it's Friday and weekend is not too far away. Retail therapy is always a great relief of mood swings. I know not for all but at least for me. I also love bargains and little samples you grab in stores. So I thought about the likes of me and set up great lucky chair items in each store in Rezzable sims and set most prices to half price for the weekend. While you explore and have fun, do stop by at the stores and check out what you might find for your taste and yes at Half Price :)
You might feel like in heaven like in the photo taken by Angelina Rhodes in the Greenies sim. Did I forget to say that the entrance to Greenies sim is now free and we have got amazing Live musicians every Monday at 12pm SLT and regular fun games with lots of great prizes.
