Colour of Wind - Transience

About the Build

Throughout the build are wind threads. These make the unseen see able. They take the direction and strength of the wind and maps them to the colour vector comprising red, green and blue. Wind is very local so if you are patient you can see its eddies swirling across the plot.

The centerpiece is called Redemption. Redemption can sometimes be our choice and our choices can often be as be as fickle as the Second Life wind.

There are other things for you to look and play with through the plot and visa versa.

About the Artist

My art in SL is currently focused on the interplay between structure and texture. As well as the normal digital tools of graphic and 3d modeling programs I also freely make use of Linden Scripting Language as both my chisel and my paintbrush. I'm constantly in a state of wonder (and occasionally, despair) at depth , the dimensionality thats available for the art of Second Life. I have a tendency at the moment for small and intricate... though this, like all else is subject to change.

Unknown, what can I say ... Its one of my fondest memories of SL. Id been in SL maybe a total of 4 days and had got the impression that it was extended suburbia. Then I tp'ed in Suffergium and met the most incredible person with an avatar that gave me a glimpse of what Second Life could be. You were funny, clever, edgy and ridiculously patient with someone who stood around puzzled at channels and wondering what was this AO on/off thing was I kept hearing.

Formative to say the least and freeing (except for that small confined moment :P)

Your ability and imagination still stops my breath so you have an idea what your comment above means to me. thank you

This is beautiful! Actually, stunning may be a better word to describe the various displays here. And, unfortunately, 2D pictures don't do these creations justice. They must be experienced in-world to really appreciate them.
