About the Artist
I aim to inspire and be inspired!
My work in SL has been an ongoing experiment with the digital 3D medium. in addition to the creature creations I've been focusing on lately in-world, I have expanded my work into the real world via full colour ink and watercolour illustrations. eventually, I'd like to sell high-quality prints of the creatures alongside the avatars themselves. I really want to take advantage of this digital, worldwide medium and merge it with my studies. I think SL has alot of uncracked potential and I'm aiming to bust into that any way I can!
Artist Biography
I am an art and design major with an illustration emphasis, going into my fourth year, and aiming for a BFA. I started doing SL work my freshman year here when a friend got me interested in the medium. I use SL as a stepping stone into the world of digital 3D and up until SL, I have worked with only completely traditional media and everything I know in SL, including Maya, was new to me (I have had a year of Photoshop classes during this time though, which was immensely helpful.). hopefully, this work will lead me to graduate studies or internships in the future. I have 2 years left of study at college before then, so we'll see!
I'm 21 years old, 5'1", and I love tea. I keep a stash of over 25 varieties of tea, mostly blacks or pu-erhs. loose-leaf teas are by far the most exquisite kinds of teas... if you have not ever brewed real tea like this, it's about time you should! I also love insects, in fact, I am currently taking care of 4 mantis egg cases, 2 of which have hatched. that's 300 mantis babies : D I have a weakness for resin figurines and I have a nice collection of various sizes and types, from Gundams to Tyranids, and from Slash to Jareth the Goblin King. ♥
