The Build
Tower of Industrial Judgement
About the Build
Does technology bring Man closer to God? Or is it their ruin?
This mighty tower of industrial beauty--a technological Tower of Babel--attempts to manipulate the raw forces of nature to reach into the heavens. Yet, it remains chained to the Earth, and could perhaps topple at any moment. Bosch himself could not have imagined a world where machines and the products of human hands could both corrupt and destroy and yet still be tools of connection and beauty. What is man's fate? Are we bound by our limitations?
Or can technology set us free?
About Eladrienne Laval
There's something about steampunk--the gears and metal and such, isn't it? And who cares if 3-4 atmospheres are necessary in a world where anything's possible? I'm a builder who loves to build and I just want to create and bring something interesting and beautiful to us inworld. Always imagining. Always exploring. Always learning. I'm on a creative journey here...Care to come along?
In RL, I am a published author and artist whose work is being shown in galleries and museums around the country. The arts are like air to me. I can't live without it. In SL, I have created builds in the victorian steampunk nation of Caledon and elsewhere. I am available for custom work and can't wait to create more. I am also a designer as well (look up E.Laval in Search inworld) with a presence in most of the steampunk sims. Follow my explorations and musings about life inworld here: elinsl.blogspot.com.
About Kheph777 Enouch
Kheph777 Enoch is a builder and scripter with experience in many genres--from Steampunk to Horror to Sci-Fi to Cyberpunk and more. He has store locations throughout SL, and will gladly do custom work.
Kheph began his adventures in cyberspace building virtual environments for an Unreal Tournament online gaming clan. (He was known at that time as Omlette Du Fromage.) After his UT clan disbanded, Kheph discovered Second Life and reconnected with his love of building, expanding his experience into scripting as well. Today, he has found a home in various sims dedicated to Steampunk themes, and has several lines of Steampunk'd products available. (Belts, Boots, Armour, Goggles, Gadgets, Machines, Houses, AVs, etc.)
You may find their products inworld at their shared flagship store in Steeltopia: slurl.com/secondlife/Steeltopia/107/171/26/.
