Excess of Sorrow Laughs / Excess of Joy Weeps

About the Build

Installation/sculpture on 2 levels - one at ground level, one in the sky. Ground level represents sorrow/grief/sadness; sky level represents joy/elation/happiness. Sky level is also a gathering space. The title is taken from a quotation by William Blake.

Artist Biography

I am an artist who has been exhibiting in SL since 2005. I usually describe my art as Chromotive [Chroma (color) + Emotive (drawing out or evoking emotion)]. My current project is a collaborative Second Life gallery called Arthole, which I share with my friend and fellow artist Arahan Claveau. I founded the Art & Artist Network in Second Life, currently the largest Art-related group with about 1000 members. I support my SL-related art with a shop called Numinous.
