I'm going to try not to think

I'm going to try not to think of SL in success/failure terms so much. I know it's the depression talking but it really is a very silly way to approach things.

Explanation with the resolutions and more of them and talks...

New Year's resolutions is something 'atomics' are bound to do. We might not always write them down, but at the beginning of each year, we say "this is what I'm going to do different", or "this is what I want to achieve". No miracle that this reflects on our avatar behaviours. So what did your avatar plan for 2009? More resolutions & talks here!

But then what keeps you going?

Interesting idea, but then what keeps you going? If there is no defined 'success', what's the motivation? ;)

Basic human contact maybe?

Basic human contact maybe? General silliness? And also maybe if I don't predefine myself as a Failure I might be able to work up the courage to try Doing Things.

This all very definitely applies in Real Life as well, but somehow it's that bit more obvious when I log into Sl only to stand there telling myself I'm useless and Doing It Wrong.
