Messing around with the Garden sky!
The Garden of NPIRL Delights can be whatever you make of it! So why not play around with the very cool windlight settings in your viewer? We made a few initial ones for you. Download the presets: self-extracting zip for Windows XP (works in SL default settings for XP install) / zip file and install to windlight > skies folder on your machine (check your machine and extract to the skies folder)

Wearable Art -- Make your own t-shirt
Make your own version of the Garden t-shirt and share it around the Grid. Kaeli Candour made a pretty easy to use photoshop template with all the logos and info. If you know some photoshop or do the 'the gimp' you should be able to make something cool enough. Couple of points:
- Template is set-up in high-res 1024x1024. Work your design in this resolution but resize any inworld stuff to 512x512 to reduce viewer lag.
- Back is flatter than front of t-shirt! Is maybe worth distorting image to make it more narrow and v-shape perspective as the SL avatars are top heavy usually and your design will get strecthed out in a v-shape. Have some patience and be ready to tweak it a bunch.
- Suggest you run a sharpen filter once your design is down. T-shirts can be a little hard to read, so also go with bigger/bolder.
- Save as .tga 32 bit to make the template work in SL properely. (24 bit does not do alpha layers. You'll get ugly black bits all around.)
- Import to SL and then use the Appearance editor. Drop your new texture onto the texture box. Remember to save it and also give it a new name.
You can of course also add prims to your t-shirt! Make it unusual! And show it to us - and the world - by wearing it, giving it to your friends and submitting your design to The Garden of NPIRL Delights Flickr Pool.
