Doubledown Tandino

Doubledown Tandino - known as 'Brad Reason' in First Life has an impressive SL age of 2 years and some change.  Originating from the USA, with his 29 years he has an already impressive resumé, both in-world as well as in real life, where his company is named 'Ravelong Productions'. Doubledown ended up in Second Life when a musician friend pointed it out to him, and now spends a lot of time there, of which approximately 90% is 'full time work'.

His first - excellent, we must say - performance happened to be with an art gallery show. Since he's a digital music producer and DJ in real life, it just seemed fitting to jump right into the SL performance world.  Doubledown Tandino has an impressive list of software and hardware he uses to create & mix his sounds: External Vinyl Turntables, CD Turntables, Mixer, Sampler, Beat Machine, Abelton Live, Reason, ACID.  His musical taste or preferences list is almost as huge. From electronica genres such as deep & funky house, drum-n-bass and nujazz over classic motown, funk and towards rock.

When asked what kind of crowd he prefers, we notice even there he has a broad taste: 'The type of crowd I'd be going for is everyone into very interesting modern world music and a fun entertaining show.  Usually 30-50 yr old professionals, creative types, artists, live musicians , and the 18-30 clubscene crowd follow to my performances.'  Doubledown's preferences as it comes to Rezzable builds is simple: 'I love anything Starax... I mean Light Waves builds.'

Doubledown Tandino is a professional in Marketing and Promotion as well as a DJ, Music Producer, & Event Producer and has been for over 15 years.  Doubledown has created or performed in over 5000 events in the United States & over 500 projects & events within Second Life.

Doubledown, as digital music composer, editor, and mixer, has the ability to create original electronic music on-the-fly as well as compose prearranged works.  The possibilities are unlimited to his sound creation and manipulation, and often learning new skills and tactics as he performs.
