Giela Delpaso

Giela Delpaso is a 27 year old girl from Canary Islands in Spain. She first joined SL in January 2007 after watching a report on the evening news. Already a gamer, Giela was tired of killing MOBS and even n00bs, so she decided to see what this "virtual world" was all about and give Second Life a try.

The first time Giela logged into SL she hated it!   She looked ugly, and she couldn't find anything.  Even worse, everyone around her seemed as lost as she was.  So she left .... but a week later, she was bored (again) with killing skeletons and decided to give Second Life another try.  Giela decided to try the SL "Search" function and looked for events.  In a stroke of good luck, she landed in an awesome club called Xanadu and had a blast.   Giela met the owners, who took her under their wing and taught her to DJ.  Within two weeks, she was working regularly as a Second Life DJ, having fun and making friends.

Giela's hard work and warm personality continued to pay off over the next year and a half, and her Second Life has changed a lot since then.  Her list of accomplishments include becoming Vice President of The BEST OF SL Magazine, Art Director of The BEST OF SL Magazine, Boulevard Agency Public Relations Officer, member of the Miss SL Universe Organization, Model for the finest fashion agencies in SL and Baiastice Face for 2008. But she still loves to share her passion for music with others by being part of Trauma Radio Dj's as well as DJ'ing for private parties and fashion events.

"Oh yeah, I still don't know how I manage to do it all. <grins> .... I have a 40-hour per week job, too, and I even cook and do the housework. LOL!"

Our "fashion DJ" Giela likes all music styles - after all, she's a request DJ - so what she most enjoys is hearing the requests from the crowd, the dedications and having fun with a bursting and joyful crowd.  (If you are lucky enough, you might even hear her sing!)
