Jarl Soderstrom

Jarl Soderstrom was born into Second Life on August 30th 2007 making him one year old! In Real Life he was born in the USA (yes just like the song) and grew up in Miami Florida dodging hurricanes, swimming with sharks,  and avoiding being eaten by Alligators..at this current point in his life due to a short bout of mental instability and marriage, Jarl now resides in the pasta capital of the world, Italy!

Sometimes when Jarl sneaks about in Real Life he apparently likes to call himself Guy instead of Jarl for yet as unexplained reasons. He also tends to pretend that he is 38 years older than he is in Second Life.

Living in the land of the Holy Roman Empire, Jarl can speak and understand Italian, a bit of Spanish as well as speak in his usual  native language of broken and misspelled English. Originally he registered in Second Life to spend more time with his Real Life /Second Life wife about a year ago and instantly fell in love with game.  Jarl eventually became interested in DJIng in Second Life because of years of working in radio in Real Life.  His first gig in Second Life was playing at his wifes club the Korova Milk Bar, and it went so well that Jarl branched out playing parties, bar mitzvahs, baby showers, live births, political rallies, and art gallery openings all around Second Life when not doing his normal alternating Saturday night slot at Korova Milk Bar SL.

Jarl loves playing music and making sure that the crowd enjoys themselves as well. He plays various kinds of music depending on both the crowd and the venue, but his favourites are EBM, Industrial, Alt Rock, Darkwave ,futurepop, electoclash, Synthpop and Goth or a mixture of all of the above.  When DJing Jarl likes to use SAM and his microphone to bring the crowd and party alive.

When not Djing Jarl also likes to to pass the time by pretending he is a Second Life Fashion  model and taking fancy photos of himself and his bottom to post on various websites like Flickr while bathing in the adoration of all the Second Life women who worship him like the Adonis that he is.

In fact through fashion modeling Jarl found out about Rezzable sims. The first fashion show that Jarl was involved with was the Relay for Life fashion show that was hosted by Rezzable. The most recent shows that he was involved with took place on his favourite rezzable sim, Black Swan. Jarl has found working with Rezzable on several different occaions to be very interesting and rewarding due to Rezzables constant involvement in helping real life charities such as the American Cancer Foundation.
