Messing around with the Garden sky!
The Garden of NPIRL Delights can be whatever you make of it! So why not play around with the very cool windlight settings in your viewer? We made a few initial ones for you. Download the presets: self-extracting zip for Windows XP (works in SL default settings for XP install) / zip file and install to windlight > skies folder on your machine (check your machine and extract to the skies folder)
Instructions on how to install and use:
New Viewer Presets you will get on your pc:
- Garden Paradise Day -- bright and saturated
- Garden Paradise Dawn -- a new day
- Garden Underworld -- as you might expect all redish and gloomy
- Garden Atlantis -- sorta underwater like
- Garden White Night -- flat colors, stark and eccentric-like
How to install these Presets:
if you are running Windows XP and installed SL in your Program Files folder (whic is the default install) you can download this little self-extracting .zip file called Rezzable_Garden_Skies.exe. It will unzip the configuration settings and drop them in the right place for you.
If you didn't or have Vista or Mac then download this .zip file Rezzable_Garden_Skies.zip.and install into the windlight/skies folder (er..if you can find it!)
1) Open SL Client Go to the World menu tab > select Environmental Settings from List > then Environmental Editor
2) Then choose Advanced Sky from sub menu
3) Finally select your new [Rezz] Garden presets from the list and bang it all looks really different
4) It just works!
