Aemilia Case

Aemilia Case Portrait

Aemilia Case from Philotic Energy was virtuall born - or created by her human counterpart - the 6th of January 2005, which makes her one of the 'Second Life Anciens'. She heard about it in 2004 but it took a friend raving about Second Life being better thn There to make her sign up. She spend some time in There before permanently moving to Second Life, as the SL platform has less limitations and more creative possibilities.

After said friend had raved and dragged Aemilia Case into SL she teleported Amelia out of orientation island just as Amelia rezzed her first time in-world as a newb. First orders? Go into appearance! Back in 2005 it was the standard 'girl next door' ruth. An instance shape change happened and Aemilia also molded the Linden hair into something she could deal with: short, black and with an awful emo fringe. The girl next door's purple shirt got turned black and sleeveless, same for the bellly top and pants. Amelia shares on that makeover: 'So much for fashion but i was rated positively several times for bein a newb which i thought was pretty cool. As i never got to see any of orientation island the UI was completely foreign to me so it took me quite a while to figure stuff out.'

For her hair textures, Miss Case uses mainly Photoshop. Not limiting herself to certain genre's - I lean towards a warped version of most genre's out there - Aemilia Case caters to the grungy, steampunk and alternative hair styles. Usually that means anything that is not mainstream.

The Embryo is Aemilia's favourite work of art on Black Swan: 'This represents to me the way Second Life can change and anything can be conceived and born here and the chained angel evokes how we are all still chained down to not fly as high as we can due to real life.' On Second Life in general, Aemilia wholehearthly agrees with the following: 'Second Life is an extension of life, constantly changing and evolving.'
