Moire Georgette - known designer for 'Comme il faut' (literally: as it should be) and her 'puppeteer' Danieli Moreira had heard about SL many times before joining, but regarded it as a "game". And she was never into "gaming". But she was always very interested in contemporary art, specially art that explored new media. She decided to give it a try when she heard about a project by 0100101110101101.org, the "13 most beautiful avatars". Once inside the world, she was fascinated by all the possibilities, things that were impossible on real world, and never left. Moire did have some experiences on there.com, imvu, habbo and the open sims, but she's only active on SL.
Since she was never very social, Moire spent a lot of time on her Clueless Noob suit before someone would kindly offer her a huge folder of freebies. She soon discovered the wonders of prim hair and premium skin, and in no time she was messing with the templates and making her own clothing using Photoshop.
MIss Georgette used to be big on retro when she first opened Bossa Nova. Her brand was pretty well known for her vintage recreations, untill she decided to expand her horizons. The 30s, 40s and 50s are still some of her biggest inspirations at Comme il Faut, but as Chanel used to say: "Fashion fades, only style remains the same." Comme il Faut is a french expression that's used to something proper, according to customs. Comme il Faut, as the name implies, is for the classic, elegant avatar; for the woman who has a taste for quality and timeless beauty. Hence her love for Black Swan's 'The Amants' (The Lovers) sculpture. ;)
