Raven Pennyfeather

Raven Pennyfeather has over three years experience - she rezzed in 2004, after a google search to find virtual communities due to here facination with them -  as a fashion content developer within Second Life with an emphasis in period and gothic clothing design for the House of RFyre.

Intrigued by virtual worlds she first entered this realm in September of 2004 and produced her first work shortly thereafter in November of that same year. Currently SL remains her primary virtual community but am branching out into other venues.

Raven found that there were few clothes which filled the fantasy/goth niche that she was so fond of. With the encouragement of friends, she perfected her Photoshop skills (learned during classes in Art and Design from International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa), and she began designing clothes. The House of RFyre was born!  'I draw inspiration from a myriad of influences: the people I meet to the music I listen to, from the images I see and also the landscapes both real and imagined that I pass through. I love to blend these many different styles, histories and stories into each piece I create, Miss Pennyfeather tells us. Raven is inspired by times before our modern time. As of late, she has made clothing with Egyptian inspiration, Minoan dresses, a beautiful Elizabethan ensemble complete with  period hair, and an 18th century gown and men's outfit. Armed with an arsenal of Photoshop CS3 - custom brushes and hand draws most of her outfits on a Wacom pad - , Illustrator and ZBrush she strives to challenge herself with each creation. The ultimate goal and mission statement of Raven's brand is one of virtual excellence.

Raven currently manages, market and maintain approximately 80 locations throughout the grid for her exclusive House of RFyre clothing brand. Raven Pennyfeather's real life background also includes Graphic Design, Residential Lending Ops, and Business Analysis for software development applications.
