Tuli Asturias - from the designer label TULI - has an impressive SLage of 2 years and 11 months, which is waaay older than the 33 years she's young in real life. Playing Star Wars Galaxies in 2005, one of her friends there told Miss Asturias about a thing called 'Second Life'. Tuli's curiosity - and the fact that Second Life was and is free to play - made her instantly register for an account, and thus 'Tuli Asturias' was born. She quit playing Star Wars Galaxies and has been stuck in SL ever since.
Tuli (who is her first and original av) was a shop-a-holic from the start, because in SL you can make shopping sprees that otherwise in rl would leave you bankrupt. To finance her habit she started to make and sell clothing. She knew a little photoshop, and downloaded the templates, and is pretty much self taught through trial and error. She still uses Adobe Photoshop CS2 for all her creative endavours.
Tuli likes to make bright summery clothes more than thick dark winter clothes, and she gets her inspiration from everywhere. It can be television, a piece of music, an item someone else made, or real life fashion. Tuli has tried several styles, and for a time was known for her brightly colored and playful clothing under the brand name Lollypop. Under her current brand name TULI she started out with sexy casuals, and with moving her main store to Le Zoo tried her hand at a more classic style. However, she plans to go back to her "roots" of colorful, sweet and a bit crazy, since that seems to suit her personality best. Much of her personality shines through her designs, she really puts her heart in it, so if you're colorful, sweet and a little crazy as well, odds are you like wearing TULI. The same goes for her skins, which have been under constant revision and upgrading for 2 years now, and she's proud of what they have become.
As favourite piece of art in Black Swan, Miss Tuli definitely chooses the Ballerina, she loves the graceful lines and the expression on her face. Her favourite SL defining quote? "As a precaution, residents should avoid rezzing valuable/no copy items until the issue is resolved."
