About the Build
The build is composed of many complex themes interwoven into a spare and simple framework. In this exhibition, Tesserian attempts to answer the question, "What would true Peace look and feel like?" The build incorporates photographs from Tesserian's pilgrimage to Jerusalem as well as his own personally built SL musical instruments.
Artist Statement
This build is a reflection on the meaning of the concepts of peace and paradise, based on a pilgrimmage to Jerusalem in 2006, and created while listening to several pieces of music I composed.
Artist Biography
Tesserian is an artist, composer and world traveler. He has been painting and composing music for nearly two decades and has been around the world at least once. The stage name "Tesserian" is derived from tessera, the small pieces that make up a mosaic. Tesserian synthesizes many different styles and themes into an organic whole.
